Oh the dilemma. Our basement has a very narrow curve going down the stairs and around the corner. We bought a very comfy couch to go in our basement. Nate and Ryan tried to get it downstairs (sorry I don't have pics of this). It wouldn't go around the corner. So we had to have Lucas come and help Ryan get it back upstairs (after trying just one more time.) This couch was about 8 1/2 feet long and over 3 1/2 feet wide. Luckily RC Willey let us return it. But now we can't find the perfect small couch.
It reminded me of my favorite show... FRIENDS.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5DHU8SwYJ0I love this episode. If you want to watch the whole thing, I have all 10 seasons on DVD.

Further proof you need to stop shopping at RC Willey.
I guess you will just have to get love seats!!
Hi Anisa it's Angie Haaga, Congratulations on your new home and the baby on the way! I thought I would just let you know that we opned a furniture store and we have sectionals that come in peices so you can choose how big you want it and it will be able to fit in your basement and we are not as expensive as RC Willy. The store is called Furuniture Box and it's located at 5993 s. State St. in Murray, just across the street from Toys R Us. Call me if you have any questions.
Hey,
We had the same problem! luckily not our whole basement is finished som we knocked out a 4x4 but, I guess we'll end up selling the couches with the house:)
All I can think of is "Pivot! Pivot!" Oh I love FRIENDS. Congrats on the house and the baby on the way!
That is probably one of the best episodes of Friends. That is so sad about your furniture though! Did anyone say "pivot" when you were moving your furniture?
