Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great weekend. It was so nice to have Ryan home for 4 days. The morning of Thanksgiving, Shellie and I went to a movie. (I already posted on that). When I got home, it thought it was so nice outside so, we took the kids to the lake to throw rocks in the water and stopped at a park to play as well. (I love living in Daybreak)
We had a nice quaint Thanksgiving Dinner with Lucas and Shellie. (Apparantly I only thought it was important to take pictures of the food).Brenner wanted to be like Tom (on Tom and Jerry) and eat the Turkey leg. On Friday, we got together with Ry's family for pizza, snacks, games, and kids running around like crazy. (Again, I'm not doing so well with taking pictures right now... what is my problem?????)
On Saturday we had a shower for my soon to be sister-in-law, Sara. She is a cute girl and we're excited to have her in our family. Dane and Sara stayed at our house and had fun being attacked by my crazy boys... they are great birth control!
I really missed seeing my mom on Thanksgiving and I hope she gets well soon.

Can I have some Crackers with my Cheese?

I don't like books or movies about vampires, werewolves, aliens, or anything of the like. However, there was such a hype about these vampire books that I had to read them. I found them to be very hokey (why couldn't that girl just fall in love with a human like that Mike guy?). But they were interesting enough that I had to finish them and read all 4 of them. So, then this movie came out. Why on earth would anyone stay up all hours of the night to see it. But I promised I would go with Shellie (my sister in law). So, we went Thanksgiving morning. She was the perfect person to go with. We giggled the whole way through the movie. I don't know if the people in the theater appreciated it very much. I think my favorite parts were when he got out of his car with his stylin sunglasses on. And the very GQ baseball playing scene. And the fact that he looked like he was going to throw up the entire movie. I could go on and on. Can I please have some crackers with my cheese?

Snow Man

Joren drew this cute picture of a snowman for Grandma Blake. Get Well soon, grandma. (I'm kind of impressed because usually he just scribbles on paper.)

Giggles

Turn your volume up for this one. It's not the best picture, but he has become so giggly lately. Enjoy!!!

My Veggie Boy

I just love that Brenner loves vegetables. If we go out to eat at a place like Rumbi or Panda Express, he always chooses a side of vegetables. And he loves the good stuff like zucchini and broccoli. (He did not get that from his Dad).

Terek is 3 months!

What a sweet little boy. He is growing so fast. He is really smiley lately and will laugh quite often as well. His favorite place to be is naked on his changing table. He is sleeping great at night and usually only wakes up toward early morning to eat. If only we could get him to like his dad a little more.

Too Tired

This is what happens when your kid is chewing gum and he falls asleep in the car. The next morning, he wakes up looking like this.... Thanks, Cami, for the peanut butter tip.

Terek

My sweet little boy. This is the only way I can get him to go to sleep. I have to hold him against my chest and rock him... and I can not sit down.
Isn't he the cutest little teddy bear you've ever seen? Thanks Uncle Chad and Aunt Melissa for the cute outfit.

Soda

I found a new diet soda that I really like. You should give it a try. I think it's only around for the holidays.

Snow Pics

I guess we got our first real snow yesterday. Last snow was just about an inch and didn't stay long. Since the snow is still here today, I guess we can say it's our first real snow. The boys were outside playing before they went to preschool at 8:30 in the morning. Good fun. Brenner loves eating the snow. Joren can't keep his gloves on, so he always gets cold fingers and wants to come in early. We can't wait to go sledding.

Playing with our Kids

Being pregnant all summer and very uncomfortable, I got it in my head that I wanted to take my kids places where they could play and I could sit and read a magazine. I'm feeling great now, but it didn't really dawn on me that I could play with them. Anyway, so we went to a place called Jumpin Jacks for family night. Ryan and I both went on the slides with the kids. It was tons of fun and a great workout! Joren and Brenner love places like this. Plus, you get the added bonus of wearing the kids out so they go to sleep early (or at least on time). We dragged Lucas and Legacy with us because Shellie had to work. She loved it, but I'll let them post the pics.
Terek even joined in the fun.
