Gotta love days off work and school:) It snowed yesterday... weird, huh! But when Chad and Melissa and their family come down, we always go hiking. Today, Chad decided to go on a hike to see an overlook to Snow Canyon.
It was a very rocky trail, and a very muddy trail.
Our boys are such troopers. We had hiked about 1.5 miles when we stopped to take a snack break.
Brenner carried our water and snacks. At that point Ryan's GPS said we still had about a mile to go, so Rose and Ryan turned around and took the little kids back. Even Terek hiked almost the whole way.
The rest of us continued the other mile on the very muddy, snowy trail. All of a sudden we were at the end... and it was an amazing view! So pretty! Totally a fun hike... even if it was muddy.
Any ideas of where we should hike next???

Wow! So pretty!
Looks like alot of fun.. I love hiking, we have a few planned for the summer.
I don't think I have ever been on this hike before. I love the pictures you took of Ryan and Terek and Brenner. I don't know of any hikes in St. George area that you haven't already been on.
I love that hike, it isn't too difficult and the end result is beautiful Snow Canyon. There are some fun ones up by the red mountain that would be easy for your boys and they have lots of cool rocks that they can climb on. I think that I will be down for part of spring break so if they want to hike I'd be more than happy to take them.
Gorgeous! What hike is that? we're always looking for new hikes down there.
