Ice Skating

Yesterday I traded in my flip flops for ice skates... literally. It was so nice outside... t-shirt weather. We headed to the ice skating rink in St. George.
It was kind of hard for the kids to skate...
Pushing around the buckets worked okay, but they needed to be a little taller for B & J.
We had some of our nieces and nephew with us... they seemed to have a fun time.
Brenner got the hang of it better than the rest of our kids.
I'm thinking next time we should go should be a date night:)

Snow Canyon

On Christmas Eve we wanted to do something fun with Logan and Sydney. It was sooo nice out, so we decided to go hiking in Snow Canyon. We hiked a little around on the petrified Sand Dunes...

And we hiked to Johnson's Arch.

The boys love to hike and climb... Joren keeps asking when we're going to climb the big red mountain.

On the 24th day of Christmas...

.... we went out to dinner. (We didn't go out to eat much when we were kids, but we always went out to eat on Christmas Eve as long as I can remember)

Mom made the kids all matching PJ's. They have little monkeys on them. Aren't they cute?

We played games with Logan and Sydney, Mom and Dad! It was a fun night!

On the 23rd day of Christmas...

We drove around to look at Christmas lights.

This house had Santa standing outside handing out candy canes!

Congrats to Lucas and Shellie who had their baby boy tonight! We can't wait to meet him!

On the 22nd Day of Christmas...

We celebrated Ryan's 37th birthday!!! Check out all those candles!
We almost burned the house down! Happy Birthday to the best husband and father ever!!!
(Poor Terek tipped over in the chair trying to see the huge fire)

On the 21st day of Christmas....

We played in the snow and went sledding with some of our family...
The boys have missed the snow and had soooo much fun sledding.

That night we went to temple square to see the lights... another one of our favorite traditions.

We have had a lot of fun seeing so much of our family this holiday season. We miss Lucas, Shellie and Legacy a lot and look forward to seeing them soon!

On the 20th day of Christmas...

We met some of our best friends, the Stringhams at Gardner village for the Elf Hunt.It was freezing cold, but still tons of fun.... one of our favorite traditions.

On the 19th Day of Christmas....

We had our Christmas program at church....

... and drove to northern Utah because our nephew was being ordained a deacon...

On the 18th day of Christmas....

We made the Engines to our trains at Lowes....

And we went to the Tuacahn Festival of Lights...

Santa was sick!!! I hope he gets better before Christmas!

PS... Logan, the reason my pics are "bad" is because I'm using the retro app on my phone to take them and blogging from my phone. I'm too lazy to carry around my huge nice camera!

So smart its scary

This kid amazes me! He is so smart. He can put together puzzles all by himself. He knows a lot if his colors, shapes and letters!

This is all thanks to his grandma Blake. She spends a lot of time teaching him!
