Brenner's 1st You Tube Video

Brenner loves You Tube!!! He gets on there and watches videos of how to use his toys. When he gets a new toy, he doesn't need to read the instruction manual because he has already watched the video of how to construct it on You Tube. It's so funny. Anyway, we were on a trip to DI the other day. I always tell the kids I will buy them something for under $1. Brenner couldn't find anything he wanted. So we went to the outside portion to check out some stuff. He found an Icee Maker. It didn't have instructions, but no fear, Brenner figured he could find a video on You Tube. We didn't find a video, but what we did find was the instruction manual. So, he decided to make his own You Tube video. (I don't know how to use Imovie, so I just put the original video on there without any editing... sorry. Libby, I need you to teach me how to use it. The video is wide screen so part of it gets cut off it you watch it on the blog. You may actually want to watch it in You Tube for better viewing.)

This boy needs a dog

Joren loves animals. When we were in St. George last weekend he had so much fun playing with Tiger.
I have been saying that when he turns 5 I will get him a dog. 10 more months to get geared up.
Any help or suggestions on the perfect type of dog would be great!!!

Terek at 18 months

Okay, so I realize that Terek turned 18 months a couple of weeks ago. But I've been trying to take him out to get his pictures taken (the photographer being me). I tried a couple of times but he would just cry for me to hold him. So I told Ryan that sometime this weekend we would take him and he could help me make him smile, distract him, etc. We were heading to Kanarraville for my cousin Summer's baby blessing (Peyton). So I figured I could find a cool place to take his pictures taken there. For some reason I waited until after the luncheon when he was completely dirty. We took them at my cousin Cash's house by his garage... super sweet location. They turned out totally cute... and an hour's worth of photoshop to get rid of the dirty sweater vest... voila!!! (don't look too close at that sweater vest).

So, Terek at 18 months!!! He is a crazy little boy. He LOVES to climb up on the table and the counter. He loves to get into stuff. He LOVES to be held by mommy and daddy. He loves "nana" (candy). He loves Elmo and all things sesame street. He loves to play with balls. He loves to scream to try to get what he wants. He loves to play outside. He loves to color... on everything except paper. He loves to cuddle. He loves his big brothers and they love him too!!! We love you Big T.

Their latest craziness

So, my boys have decided that they need to take their mattresses off their beds and make a slide down our stairs... it's super fun to slide down.

They like to involve all of their friends in their adventures.
I guess when it's too cold to go outside and use the actual slide, you have to improvise:)
I'm getting kind of tired of having to remake their beds. Fortunately for me, they prefer to sleep on their mattresses in the family room, so no need to make their beds. I just get to live in a messy house all the time... Oh the joys of boys!

Saying Goodbye to some Good Friends

The Headrick family moved in across the street from us when Brenner and Dylan were about 5 months old. They have been best friends ever since.

It was so fun for him to have a best friend across the street. They did everything together. Then we moved.... we still got together as much as we could.
We had 3 boys and the Headricks had 3 boys. Joren and Jack became best friends too.
They are moving to Denver and we are super sad. We are hoping we can make the drive to visit them sometime... and we know they will be back here in Utah often because they have Grandparents here.
We got to have Jack and Dylan over here last week while the movers packed up their trucks. It was super fun for the boys to be able to play with their best friends.

Rachel is one of my best friends and I am so sad to see her leave. I wish her the best of luck and I will miss her tons:(

Tim Tams

This post is for Logan...

Logan went on his mission to Australia and he loved the Tim Tams there. Just recently, he and Sydney did their own taste test comparing the American Tim Tams to the Australia ones.
The kids and I were at Target today and they had an end cap right by the register loaded with Tim Tams. I told the kids that those were Logan's cookies and he had his own special way of eating them. So, we bought them but they had to wait until we got home (I even made them wait until after dinner) to try them because we needed milk. I taught them how to bite the corners off and suck the milk up through like a straw. My kids like soggy stuff like I do, so they seemed to love the cookies. A package of 9 cookies was $2 so we won't be buying them again any time soon, but it was fun to try.

I wonder if they saved any for me?

Brenner and Tagg

My mom has been wanting me to post this for awhile... and Libby was giving me a hard time about being a blog slacker.... so, here's a post for you:)

Brenner loves Tagg and he has him with him almost all the time. He carries him around on his shirt just like this. Sometimes Tagg actually crawls down inside. But most of the time you see his butt sticking out of Brenner's shirt. I think he lucked out to get such a tame, sweet hamster.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day today! It's nice to have this day to think about how much we love our family. I don't know what I would do without Ryan and my kids:)

Cupid came to our house and brought little presents and candy for the kids... they were super excited!

Brenner and Joren made Ryan a candy bar poster. They wrote the whole thing themselves... they are getting so grown up and smart!!!
I hope everyone gets to enjoy time with the ones they love today!!!

Random Pics

I have a cute pink camera that I carry around in my purse so that I don't miss any special occasions. I just downloaded it today to post pics of cute Brenner's two missing bottom teeth...

(doesn't he look cute without those teeth. How fun and exciting to be losing our first teeth at our house!)

to my surprise, I found a lot of fun pics on the camera.
The kids love the Gale Center and I had pics from two different trips there.
Terek dancing with the mannequin at Old Navy.
Brenner and Dylan climbing the rock wall at Discovery Gateway.
The kids having fun sledding with Sam.
Joren with his preschool teacher when he was the VIP.
How fun to find those pictures that were from way back in January:)

Spring fever

We have spring fever at our house! I fear we have 6 more weeks of winter:(
