Happy Halloween!

Next year I vote for costumes that don't require make-up!

A necessity of Halloween is carving pumpkins. It's almost more fun to see the faces people make while carving their pumpkins....

Can you guess which pumpkin belongs to which person???

Owl... Anisa. Middle... Joren. Mummy.... Brenner
Green... Sydney. Puking.... Logan. Small.... Terek.

Staheli Family Farms

This past weekend we headed over to the Staheli Family farms for all the fall festivities!
They kids had a blast! They have a pumpkin patch.
Their favorite part was the rope swing.
The boys loved to race the ducks in the troughs.
We loved getting lost in the corn maze.
Totally fun, fun place. We were there for 3 hours and could have stayed all night. Next time we'll go earlier and make a whole day of it!!!

Bad Bug

This kid cracks me up!
The other day he came in the house with a giant ant in his hand....
and said, "Bad Bug" and gooshed it in between his fingers!

Grandparents Day

On Friday, Joren had Grandparents day at preschool. He was lucky enough to have TWO grandma's go to his grandparents day!
They painted a cute picture with Joren's feet.

"Walking with Grandma and Grandpa"
I like to walk with grandma and grandpa...
Their steps are short like mine.
They don't say "Now hurry up!"
They always take their time.
Most people are in a hurry-
They don't stop and see...
I'm glad my grandparents
Are young and unrushed....
Like ME!!!
They sang some songs and did cute little program for the grandparents!

Our Own Pumpkin Patch

When Grandpa found out we were moving to St. George, he hurried and planted a couple of pumpkins for the kids...
I just noticed that the pumpkins were growing and turning orange.
Joren and Terek couldn't wait for Brenner to get home from school to pick the pumpkins.
It was too heavy, so we had to take it home in our wheel barrow.

Snow Canyon

We went to Snow Canyon State Park with some of Ry's family. We hadn't been there in years! The kids had a blast digging holes in the sand dunes and they loved hiking. We think we should head over there and go camping in a couple of weeks!

School

Every once in a while I like to post what the kids are up to at school. Brenner is doing so well. He gets 100% on all of his spelling tests... partially because he's just smart and partially because Grandma makes wordsearches for him and quizzes him. He continues to do awesome with his reading. He gets to write these post cards at school. Most of the time he writes them to his best friend, Damian, but once in awhile I get one.
Joren loves preschool. His teacher gives them skittles when they are being good. Sometimes he only gets a few.... we're working on that. He has homework to practice writing and his handwriting is getting pretty good. He also is learning how to read and can do pretty good with a lot of the 3 letter words. This is a picture of an alligator he drew for me.

I do a toddler time with Terek and he LOVES it sooo much. He gets to play with other kids and do a craft. I guess I'm kind of burned out on crafts from the other kids so I just don't want to do anything with a glue stick with Terek. So when they did this little activity where they could glue shapes on a paper with a glue stick, he went crazy because he had never used one before. I think he was determined to cover the whole page with shapes. As soon as he's done with his projects, he's ready to leave because he wants to take them home and show them to grandma!

As for me, I got a job. I will be a teacher aide at Snow Canyon middle school. I don't know a lot of details about the job, but I'm excited to be getting back into education again!
