Tatoo artists!

So, the other day Joren decided to color Terek's face (and this is after I washed it off).
Then for some reason a couple of days later, Lucas thought he would teach Joren it was okay to color on people's faces by giving Terek a mustache and earrings.

So this is what Joren did to his own face... mind you, he wasn't even looking in a mirror.

The Dark Divine

A friend of mine that used to live 2 houses down from me, Bree Despain, wrote a book:) It's called the Dark Divine. It came out in December and I haven't had time to read... because I knew if I started a book I wouln't have time to do anything else. This past week at work I had a couple of slow days and I was able to read it while I was working. I loved the book! It totally kept me going and was a great story. It was very startling to get interrupted by a phone call when I was so engrossed in the book:)

I don't want to compare it to Twilight, but it does have a paranormal character in the book... but I liked it better than the Twilight books.... which sadly is the last book I read. So, check it out. You can buy it online or you can borrow mine. You can check out how website for more info.

Crafting... as always!

What do you hate the most that everybody else seems to love?
Reading, but I wouldn't use the word Hate!!!

What are you wearing today?
It's 5:00 in the morning and I'm at "work" so I'm in my PJ's.

What's for dinner?
I'm at a crop all day so I get yummy Texas Roadhouse... the kids... probably McDonald's.

What's the last thing you bought?
Clothes for Brenner for next year... I'm all about the clearance stuff and buying ahead. I got two pairs of jeans for $8!

What are you listening to right now?
The static in my headset...I'm at work.

If you could have a house, fully paid for, and totally furnished anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Somewhere warm and tropical... florida, california...!!!

What is one of your hobbies?
Anything crafty.... scrapbooking, home decor, sewing, etc.

What are 3 things that annoy you most?
Hairballs... like when it's in the bottom of the shower or when you sweep and it's stuck to the broom.
Constantly picking up clutter... but that's part of being a mom.
Stupid Drivers.

What is your favorite color?
Depends on the day and situation... probably green or orange.

What is your favorite piece of clothing in your wardrobe?
Jeans and a T-shirt.... that's all I wear.

What is your dream job?
Working for a scrapbook company.

All about the casual... jeans and a t-shirt... I don't even wear jewelry.

What are you going to do after this?
Shower... then go back to my crop... scrapbooking all day!!!

What are you currently reading?
The Dark Divine.... look at me reading... it's a book written by a friend of mine.

What delighted you most today?
I've sold two Yudu's at work today so far... that's good... I would really like to own a Yudu.

I really don't think I'm that judgmental... am I?

I think I'd like to be able to sing?

Best Vacation Ever?
I love Hawaii.... but Florida was fun too... I wish we could go on a vacation... I'd even take St. George right now.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?
I have quite a few, but I really only wear my running shoes or these ugly brown slip on things... can't wait for flip flop season.

What is your favorite food?
I'd have to say Pasta... My favorite was the Farfalle pasta from Tuccis... but that restaurant is gone now.

Happy Birthday, Anisa!

On your birthday I would like you to know how much I and the boys love you. You are a great mother and a wonderful wife. You are able to accomplish so much each day to make our house a home. You take care of the kids and are still able to do all of your crafting/scrapbook endeavors. I want you to know how much I appreciate you. You are a great support to me and I love you very much. Joren's 4 year pics

Joren is such a silly boy! It was fun to get pictures of him.

Joren's Party

Joren had his friend birthday party at GloGolf in the South Towne Mall. He had lots of fun playing golf........ but he was most excited about new presents:)
It was fun to have his friends to celebrate with:)

Joren turns 4

Four years ago this crazy little boy came into our lives!!! Joren is quite the character. He is my sweet little cuddler, but full of mischief at the same time! My favorite thing about him is his eyes.... they have saved him many times!!! He loves to play with Bakugans, Ben 10 and the Wii. He does not like being outside in the cold. He loves to hit, sword fight and shoot with guns. He loves to play with his big brother, Brenner and he follows him around everywhere. And he loves to carry his baby brother, Terek around and try to boss him around. He is loving preschool right now and is learning so quickly. We love you so much Joren!!!

Joren got to go on a date with mommy yesterday to get an early surprise birthday present. He got a blue beta fish that he named "Fishy." He also got Ben 10 stuff and bakugans. The best part was that mommy wrapped some of his presents in random boxes like irons and panini grills and such. You should have seen the look on his face when that's what he thought he was getting. Happy birthday Big J!!!

Sledding

Today was the perfect day for sledding!

Joren wanted Terek to go sledding with him, but Terek preferred to just walk around in the snow and try to eat it.
Brenner preferred to slide down sans sled.
It was so nice and warm and tons of people were out sledding. Good times!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

It's crazy how the Holidays have come and gone. We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and we looking to a wonderful 2010!!!

Terek stole all of the sucker/toys out of everyone's stockings.
It's always fun to spend the holidays with family. It was fun to have Grandma and Grandpa Blake stay with us... and it's always fun to have Lucas, Shellie and Legacy over. Nothing like a fun shirtless game of keep-away! (the boys get too sweaty and have to take their shirts off... it's kind of funny.)
Legacy got a hair kit for Christmas and the boys had countless hours of fun doing my hair!
We hope everyone has a happy new year! We had a fun-filled evening with Terek almost choking on a carrot (not to mention the fact that Joren had done the same thing on a hard candy only two days before. Shellie and I would like to take a CPR class if anyone knows of a good one.)
We played lots of Wii, ate lots of good appetizers and wore fun party hats!
Lucas had lots of fun lighting off his illegal fireworks!!!
Joren did not enjoy Lucas' fireworks!!!
This weekend we get to try to catch up on a few projects... so it's time to get busy!!!
