Church is a very dangerous place

So we headed down to Lehi yesterday for our nephew Mason's baptism. My children apparantly don't have the slightest idea of how to be good in church without sticker books or some sort of activity. Brenner apparantly bit Ryan (and being the extremely jerky person that he is) jumped and threw Brenner into the bench in front of us. Ryan and Brenner got to spend some time in urgent care and Brenner got 5 stitches! His scar from his surgery is above his right eyebrow so he'll have a nice balanced look!

My baby is 1 Week Old!

It's only been a week and it seems like he's always been part of our family. He is adored by his big brothers.
Especially Joren.
Brenner loves setting the timer on the camera and taking pics. Here's our first official family pic... better ones to come.

Bath Time

We have run out of tubs! As many of you may know, our boys fight! Well, we haven't bathed them in the same tub for awhile because they fight way too much in the tub! So, they take turns in their tub or mommy's tub. Last night Joren was in Mommy's tub. Brenner was in his own tub and Terek got his spong bath on the counter in my bathroom. We're okay for a couple of weeks until that umbilical cord falls off. But when it's Terek's turn for a bath, I sure hope we don't have to have one of the kids in the tub in the basement.I know you've been waiting for a super cute pic of this baby. Usually he doesn't have his eyes open, but this was after his bath.
Brenner wanted a picture taken of himself in the tub as well. Ryan said Joren was too naked to get his picture taken (I'm not sure what that means).

We're home!

I got a little bored at the hospital today, so I decided to come home.Terek wasn't sure if he liked his car seat at first, but he fell asleep quick! Grandma Rose and the two big boys decorated the house for us.
We had a birthday party for the baby and everyone got presents.
My friend, Jacinda made one of her famous cakes!

We're excited to be home and welcome baby Terek into our family!

Bored?

Guess what Ryan's reading! (And now you see what I say about us not putting this baby down).

2 Days Old

We are enjoying our peaceful stay at the hospital. We should be coming home first thing Monday morning. The two older boys are having fun with Grandma Rose and their cousins. We took a few more pics. I've been made fun of by the doctors and nurses because my baby has a "wardrobe." But everyone seems to love all of his different blankets. Terek is a sweet little baby. He has slept a lot today. He doesn't fuss much... just when he's hungry.
He's definitely going to be another cuddler (like Joren). He loves to lay on his tummy... especially cuddled up on Mommy's chest. He likes to be held and for some reason, neither of us seem to want to put him down. We may as well spoil him now while we get the chance.

1 Day Old

Well, it's been a day and we're doing great! Baby Terek has been a great baby so far! He kept me up a lot last night just wanting to look at me and smile... I think I'm sending him to the nursery tonight so I can get some sleep. He loves his daddy. He sleeps really well curled up in his arms. (So does Daddy)
Thanks to all who have come to visit! You're always welcome any time!

3 Baby Boys

Here's a pic of our 3 baby boys? Can you tell which one is which?

One week from today

One more week... need I say more?

More Projects Done...

Slowly but surely I'm trying to get these rooms in my house decorated. This is the downstairs baths. I painted the cute little picture frames and put some fun scrapbook flowers in them. They turned out great and I actually had everything at home... I didn't even have to buy anything. This is the guest bedroom. I decorated most of it right after I found out I was having a boy and I was in the mood to decorate something girls. A couple of weeks ago I finally made a throw pillow and a window valance. I guess the room can be considered done. I'd still love to find a headboard... maybe next spring at a garage sale.

Can't stop... I'm addicted

I have been going through scrapbooking withdrawals. My scrapbook room had been overtaken by girls camp craft stuff (glad that's over) and sewing and home decorating projects. I couldn't scrapbook much with Cami because our kids just won't cooperate any more:( So, I took matters into my own hands and I've been sneaking down to my scrapook room all weekend. I finished 14 vacation pages as well as some smaller pages of Joren and this cute page of the boys. Ryan had to pull me out of the room so that I wouldn't be late for church.
Thanks to my sweet husband who was so nice to watch the kids for me so I could scrapbook. They were upstairs taking "family pictures" and playing computer and whatever else he could do to keep them entertained. I don't think I've gotten my fix yet and will probably be down in the basement every evening this week.

2 Weeks from Today!

Right now, this baby is kicking me everywhere! He's trying to get out! 2 more weeks! Look at those fists! I think he's been listening a little too much in Brenner's karate class.

Afraid of Fire

Last night for family night we went Mini golfing. Brenner said he had a dream that we should go to Boondocks for family night. (Maybe this was his personal revelation). I told him we only had time for one activity... he chose mini golf. Boondocks has a volcano that puffs out real fire. The volcano went off on hole #2 and that was the end of golf for Joren. He was petrified that it would go off again and kept looking over his shoulder. Finally I just had to take him inside and get him some ice cream. Huh, I wonder why he doesn't like fire?

Karate

I put Brenner in karate about a month ago. He really likes the class. And he actually really likes his male teacher (usually he's scared of men.) Karate has been great for him. He has a chart that he takes home that he gets rewards for good behavior. His teacher really focuses on Listening skills and they are rewarded for good behavior in class. Joren loves to watch Brenner and he gets snacks from the vending machine if he's a good boy during Brenner's class.

"Triteratops"

Brenner has decided that his favorite dinosaur is a "triteratops."
He does his own hair like a "triteratops"
And he likes all of his crafts to be "triteratops." Cute, huh?
